I honestly don’t have any tip to give other than to suggest you wear it as much as you can tolerate it. The more you experience everyday sounds, the more your brain gets used to it. Music probably would help as well, but really…the easiest way to train your brain is to simply listen.
There are activities on the websites of all 3 CI companies. Go to them and practice listening. Also, I have heard adults say that they get books on tape and listen to them and follow along reading. Or do the same with the lyrics to their favorite songs.
