Has anyone heard about how NC is trying to prevent deaf people from serving on a jury? http://www.nad.org/blogs/lindanelson/north-carolina-legislators-oppose-deaf-jurors
Talk about conflicting messages. A deaf person can be a doctor but can’t serve on a jury…….very…..sad……

The comments of elected representatives in that NC jury article are crazy. Actually though they're trying to change the law to allow deaf jurors, as it stands now they have served but the law is vague enough to prohibit them. I'm not sure what other states do…
